Edmondo Occhipinti
Edmondo is the founder and CEO of 3.im, with over 20 years of international experience in digital engineering, energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure. His career began at Gehry Technologies, where he developed a foundation in advanced design and digital delivery, before leading large-scale asset digitalization and transformation programs across Europe and the Middle East.
At 3-ng, Edmondo brings a clear vision: to bridge legacy infrastructure with the energy systems of the future. His leadership combines deep engineering expertise with a native digital approach, making 3-NG a dynamic and highly competitive partner for hydrogen repurposing, decarbonization, and energy transition initiatives.
Lead Pipeline Engineer
Lorenzo Bernardi
Lorenzo is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (MIMechE) with over 20 years of international experience in the design and delivery of complex pipeline systems, with a particular focus on hydrogen infrastructure and energy transition projects. His expertise covers the full spectrum of pipeline engineering, including routing, mechanical design, stress and fatigue analysis, materials selection, and above-ground facilities, applying industry codes such as ASME B31.12, IGEM TD/1, DNV, ASME, API, and ISO. He has played a leading role in the conceptual and front-end engineering of hydrogen distribution networks and associated low-carbon infrastructure, as well as high-pressure gas and CO₂ transport systems. As a recognised subject matter expert in hydrogen pipelines, Lorenzo contributes to industry initiatives advancing best practice and innovation in safe, sustainable energy transport.
